B Mirror Report: In the past week (March 8–12), the overall price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of the country’s main stock market, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), increased. During this period, the DSE P/E ratio rose by 3 percent.
According to the DSE’s weekly market review, at the beginning of the week, the P/E ratio stood at 9.53 points, while by the end of the week, it reached 9.77 points. This represents a weekly increase of 0.24 points, or 3 percent, in the P/E ratio.
