DSE P/E Ratio Falls 3% in Outgoing Week

The overall price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of the country’s main stock market, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), fell during the outgoing week (November 2–6). Over this period, the DSE’s P/E ratio declined by 3 percent.

This information was obtained from the DSE’s weekly market review.

According to the data, at the beginning of the week, the DSE’s P/E ratio stood at 9.93 points. By the end of the week, it had dropped to 9.61 points. As a result, over the course of the week, the DSE’s P/E ratio decreased by 0.32 points or 3 percent.
