The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended higher on Wednesday, October 28, with its key index gaining ground as 263 listed companies saw their share prices rise.
According to the DSE, the benchmark DSEX index rose 46.72 points to close at 5,433. The DSES index gained 7.71 points to reach 1,054, while the blue-chip DS-30 index advanced 8.34 points to settle at 2,096.
The total turnover on the DSE stood at Tk 440.95 crore on the day, up from Tk 403.51 crore in the previous trading session.
Shares and units of 391 companies traded during the session. Of them, prices rose for 263 companies, fell for 76, and remained unchanged for 52.
