DSE cancels Sonali Securities TREC over violations

B Mirror Report:  The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has cancelled the Trading Right Entitlement Certificate (TREC) of Sonali Securities Limited for violating provisions of the TREC Rules, 2020, according to DSE sources.

The TREC, issued under number 261 in the name of Sonali Securities, was revoked following breaches of clause 3(2)(g) with action taken in line with clause 7(3) of the regulations.

DSE has advised the firm’s investors and clients to verify the cash and securities balances in their respective accounts. They have also been instructed to settle any outstanding transactions without delay.

In addition, the bourse has invited investors, clients, or institutions with claims or complaints against Sonali Securities to submit them within a stipulated timeframe. Applications, along with necessary documents, must be filed by May 21, 2026.

Claims can be submitted directly to the Acting Chief Regulatory Officer at DSE Tower, Level-03, Plot-46, Road-21, Nikunja-2, Dhaka-1229, or through the CDBL online complaint module.
