Dozens of companies dealing in vendor crisis

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) index rose by more than 30 points on Tuesday, the third working day of the week. Shares of dozens of companies on the DSE today traded near their daily highs amid such a rally in the index. Most of these companies were not sellers of shares. This information is known from DSE sources.

The companies are Salvo Chemical, Kattali Textile, Beach Hatchery, HR Textile, Deshbandhu Polymer, Fast Prime Mutual Fund, Peninsula Chittagong, BBS Cables, Republic Insurance, E-Generation, BIFC and Emerende Well.

Among the companies, Salvo Chemical, Kattoli Textiles, Beach Hatchery, HR Textiles, and Deshbandhu Polymers were in a vendor crisis towards the end of the transaction.

Shares of Baki Fast Prime Mutual Fund, Peninsula Chittagong, BBS Cables, Republic Insurance, E-Generation, BIFC, and Amaranth Well were also in good craze of late. But the selling point was not the shares of the companies.

Among the companies, Salvo Chemical, Beech Hatchery, and E-Generation were among the top performers on the DSE today.

Share prices of the companies rose from 10 percent to more than 8 percent.
