On the last working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s main capital market, is trading negatively. In just two hours on this day, 155 crore of taka were exchanged. Meanwhile, the share prices of 141 companies increase.
Sources state that the main index, or “DSEX,” decreased by 5 points to 5,173 points after DSE trading started on Thursday, January 23, till 12 p.m.
In addition to the other index, the “DSES” or Sariah index decreased by 3 points, while the “DSE-30” index decreased by 6 points with 1164 and 1915, respectively, in the standings.
On the DSE, shares and units valued at Tk 155 crore were exchanged during the conversation.
141 of the traded companies experienced growth, 158 experienced declines, and 105 experienced no change.
