Diesel-kerosene prices reduced.

The government has reduced the price of diesel and kerosene by 50 paisa per litter. The new prices will be effective from midnight today, Thursday.

On Thursday (October 31), a notification has been issued by the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources adjusting the price of fuel oil.

The price of diesel has been reduced from Tk 50 to Tk 105 per liter and kerosene has been reduced from Tk 50 to Tk 105 per liter.

However, per liter octane is Tk 125 and petrol is Tk 121 unchanged, the notification said.

According to the notification, the price of fuel oil is determined every month at the consumer level in the country automatically in accordance with the decrease/increase in the price of fuel oil in the world market. For this purpose, in the light of the pricing formula, the price of fuel oil has been rescheduled to ensure the supply of fuel oil at a relatively affordable price for the month of November.
