B Mirror Desk :The oldest and most established social club in Bangladesh is Dhaka Club Limited. On April 26, 2025, the Dhaka Club hosted the “Dhaka Club President’s Cup Snooker Tournament.” The press conference and opening ceremony for the “Dhaka Club President’s Cup Snooker Tournament” took place at the Dhaka Club Main Lounge in Ghatka on April 26, 2025, at 1:30 PM. In the club’s snooker room, Mr. Ashrafuzzaman Khan (Putton), president of the Dhaka Club, officially opened the competition. Forty-three players from ten clubs in and around Dhaka are competing in the competition.
The tournament is organized and run by the Dhaka Club authorities. Director-in-charge Mr. Abdur Rahman was also present, and both the Honorable Club President Mr. Ashrafuzzaman Khan (Putton) and the Tournament Director Mr. Abdullah Ahmed Ibrahim (Kaju) gave insightful comments. Participants, club members, officers, staff, and members of the Dhaka Club’s board of directors were also in attendance. The winning team will receive Tk 100,000 (one lakh), while the runner-up team will receive Tk 50,000 (fifty thousand) and a trophy.
