Raihan  Mymensingh Correspondent : On 26.05 2025, at the initiative of the Department of Environment, Mymensingh District Office, two illegal brick kilns named M/s GMB Bricks and M/s FBC Bricks located in the Balipara area of ​​Trishal Upazila of Mymensingh district were completely demolished along with the chimneys due to their violation of the Brick Manufacturing and Kiln Establishment (Control) Act, 2013 (Amended 2019) Act, 2013 and the fire in the brick kiln was extinguished with the help of the fire service. The power lines of the two brick kilns were disconnected with the help of Palli Bidyut Samity, Trishal. Mr. Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, Executive Magistrate of the Department of Environment, Headquarters, led the operation and Mr. Mahbubul Islam and Md. Rukon Mia, Inspectors of the Department of Environment, Mymensingh District Office, provided overall support in conducting the operation. A team of Bangladesh Army members, Mymensingh District Police and Trishal Fire Service members assisted in conducting the operation. Such operations will continue in the public interest.
