Delta Life Insurance, a major insurance company listed on the capital market, has released its financial report for the third quarter of the year.
First quarter: In the first quarter of the current fiscal year ended March 31, 2024 (Jan’24-March’24), Delta Life’s net premium income was Tk 191 crore 86 lakh. In the same period of the previous year, i.e. 2023, the net premium income of the company was Tk 197 crore 42 lakh. As a result, the company’s net premium income decreased in the first quarter.
In the quarter ended March 31, Delta Life’s life fund or life insurance fund was Tk 3,943 crore. Last year. March 31, 2023, which was 3 thousand 945 crores.
During January-March of the current financial year, the total expenditure of Delta Life has been 212 crore 86 lakh taka. 223 crore 67 lakh was spent during the same period of the previous year.
Second Quarter: In the second quarter of the current financial year (April’24-June’24) ended on June 30, 2024, the net premium income of Delta Life was Tk 209 crore 02 lakh. In the same period of the previous year 2023, the net premium income of the company was Tk 186 crore 03 lakh. As a result, the company’s net premium income decreased in the second quarter.
In the quarter ended June 30, Delta Life’s life fund or life insurance fund was Tk 3,984 crore. Last year, June 30, 2023 which was 3 thousand 947 crores.
During April-June of the current financial year, the total expenditure of Delta Life has been Tk 258 crore 60 lakh. 260 crore 44 lakh was spent during the same period of the previous year.
Third quarter: In the third quarter of the current financial year (July 24-September 24) ended on September 30, 2024, Delta Life’s net premium was Tk 209 crore 43 lakh. In the same period of the previous year, i.e. 2023, the net premium income of the company was Tk 211 crore 75 lakh.
In the quarter ended on September 30, Delta Life’s life fund or life insurance fund was Tk 3,905 crore. Last year, that is on September 30, 2023, which was 3 thousand 962 crores.
During July-September of the current financial year, the total expenditure of Delta Life has been Tk 348 crore 81 lakh. 256 crore 40 lakh was spent during the same period of the previous year.
