Mansur Alam, Pabna: Pabna Deputy Commissioner praised for keeping commodity prices stable during the holy month of Ramadan.
A discussion meeting on ‘Market Situation and Safe Food’ was held at the initiative of Consumer Association of Bangladesh (CAB) Pabna. At the discussion meeting, speakers praised the efficient management of the Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Mohammad Mofizul Islam for keeping commodity prices stable through market monitoring during the holy month of Ramadan. The speakers also said that due to Mohammad Mofizul Islam’s regular market control and strict measures, consumers have been able to purchase goods at affordable prices. CAB leaders strongly appealed to the Deputy Commissioner to continue this step after Ramadan or all year round. They also congratulated the National Consumer Rights Protection Department and the concerned officials for the campaign.
A meeting on market situation and safe food was held at the `Sinsha Conference Room’ on Saturday, April 12 at 11:30 am at the initiative of the Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB) Pabna district branch. The meeting was chaired by Assistant Commissioner Md. Abdul Alim (the representative of the Deputy Commissioner, Pabna). The meeting was held under the chairmanship of CAB Pabna district branch president ABM Fazlur Rahman and moderated by Secretary SM Mahbub Alam. The meeting was attended by the special guests, including Md. Mahmud Hasan Rony, Assistant Director of the National Consumer Rights Protection Department, Pabna, and Md. Abdullah Al Mahmud Mannan Master, member of the Market Monitoring Committee formed by the district administration.
