Day-long CReLIC Training Held for IUT Students at LGED

A day-long training program was held on Tuesday (October 7, 2025) at the seminar room of the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) headquarters in Agargaon. The training saw the participation of 21 third-year students from the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department of the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) as part of LGED’s Industrial Training Program.

Under this four-week program (September 28 – October 23, 2025), information was presented to the students regarding the ongoing activities under LGED’s Climate Resilient Local Infrastructure Centre (CReLIC) and various national and international data related to climate change.

The trainers for the session included: Md. Abdul Khaleque, Project Director of CRIM-CReLIC, Md. Latif Hossain, Executive Engineer of CReLIC, Fatema Ismot Ara, Senior Assistant Engineer, Arpan Pal, Assistant Engineer, Afifa Sultana Pritul, Assistant Engineer
