Community Bank signs syndication mandate to arrange BDT 6,500 million

Community Bank Signs Syndication Mandate to Arrange BDT 6,500 million for R.A. Spinning Mills Ltd. & Outpace Spinning Mills Ltd.

Community Bank Bangladesh PLC. has signed syndication agreements with R.A. Spinning Mills Ltd. and Outpace Spinning Mills Ltd. to arrange BDT 6,500 million through a syndicated financing structure.

Under the arrangement, Community Bank Bangladesh PLC., through its Structured Finance Unit of the Corporate Banking Division, will act as the Facility Arranger, coordinating the syndication process and mobilizing funds from participating financial institutions.

The financing will support the continued growth and operational excellence of R.A. Spinning Mills Ltd. and Outpace Spinning Mills Ltd., both of which are recognized for their state-of-the-art European production machinery, energy-efficient and technologically advanced manufacturing facilities, and strong compliance with sustainability standards. The companies have also been able to avail sustainable financing facilities supported by Bangladesh Bank, reflecting their commitment to environmentally responsible operations.

The spinning mills maintain strict quality standards by using premium raw cotton sourced from the USA, Australia, Brazil, and West Africa, ensuring consistent production of high-quality yarn for both domestic and export markets. Their operations are overseen by a highly qualified management team and supported by ERP-driven systems, enabling efficient execution, transparency, and effective operational control.

In addition, the companies adhere to international compliance and sustainability certifications, including Oeko-Tex, SEDEX, GOTS, OCS, RCS & GRS (Recycling), BCI, CmiA, and the US Cotton Trust Protocol, reinforcing their strong standing with global buyers. An experienced workforce with on-site residential facilities and socially compliant labor and compensation practices further strengthen their operational resilience.

Mr. Kimiwa Saddat, Managing Director (Current Charge) of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC, signed and exchanged the mandate agreements with Mr. Razeeb Haider, Managing Director of R.A. Spinning Mills Ltd. and Outpace Spinning Mills Ltd., at the Head Office of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC.

Senior officials from both organizations, including Mr. Rubayet Haider, Director of the companies, and Dr. Md. Ariful Islam, Head of Corporate Banking & Head of Business (Branch), were also present at the signing ceremony.
