Community Bank, Bangladesh Bank sign participatory deal to refinance startups

Community Bank Bangladesh PLC. has signed a Participatory Agreement with Bangladesh Bank to join the ‘Startup Refinance Scheme” to extend financing facilities for innovative and potential startups under the refinancing scheme of Bangladesh Bank. This initiative aims to promote entrepreneurship, generate employment, and contribute to the sustainable economic growth of the country.

Ms Nurun Nahar, Deputy Governor and Ms Husne Ara Shikha, Executive Director, Bangladesh Bank graced the program with their kind presence. Mr. Muhammad Mustafizur Rahman, Director (Current Charge), SMESPD of Bangladesh Bank and Mr. Kimiwa Saddat, Managing Director (Current Charge) of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC. signed and exchanged the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at Jahangir Alam Conference Room of Bangladesh Bank. Besides, Ms. Hafia Tazrean, Join Director, Md. Nurul Kowser Saief, Join Director of Bangladesh Bank and Dr. Md. Ariful Islam, Head of Corporate Banking & Head of Business (Branch), Mr. Sharif Hasan Mamun, Head of SME & Agriculture of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC. along with other Officials of Bangladesh Bank were also present on this occasion.
