Community Bank Bangladesh PLC. and SplitPay Bangladesh Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly expand access to innovative and structured student financing solutions, aiming to make higher education more affordable and accessible for students across the country.
Under the agreement, Community Bank plans to introduce a dedicated Student Financing facility to help eligible students meet a wide range of education-related expenses. The proposed financing will cover tuition and admission fees, hostel and accommodation costs, examination fees, and other approved academic expenditures.
Through this collaboration, the two organizations will leverage modern technology and digital platforms to deliver a seamless, convenient, and customer-centric financing experience. The initiative also reflects Community Bank’s continued commitment to financial inclusion, responsible lending, digital innovation and the development of the country’s human capital.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Mohammed Emtiaz Uddin, Managing Director of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC. and Jubair Mahmud Pulock, Managing Director of SplitPay Bangladesh Limited. Senior officials from both Institions, along with representatives from North South University (NSU) and Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), were also present at the signing ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives of both Institions expressed optimism that the partnership would reduce financial barriers to higher education, broaden access to educational financing, and create greater opportunities for students and their families.
