Chittagong Port Authority requested to refrain from accepting all types of pay orders, checks, bank guarantees issued by 9 banks.

This request was made in a letter signed by Chief Finance and Accounting Officer of Chittagong Port Authority Mohammad Abdus Shakur on Thursday (August 29).

It is mentioned in the letter that until further instructions on the appropriate matter, it is requested to refrain from accepting all types of pay orders, checks, bank guarantees issued by the following banks in all activities of various departments.

9 Banks are Global Islami Bank Policy, Union Bank Policy, Bangladesh Commerce Bank Policy, Islami Bank Bangladesh Policy, First Security Islami Bank Policy, Social Islami Bank Policy, Padma Bank Policy, National Bank Policy, ICB Islami Bank Policy.

It is also mentioned that it has the approval of the appropriate authorities.
