For instance, 17,000 new personnel are being recruited for the law enforcement agencies (Police, BGB, Coast Guard). The Chief Advisor has directed that their recruitment and training be concluded within this timeframe. Shafiqul Alam noted that various conspiracies are being plotted ahead of the elections to disrupt the law-and-order situation. The Chief Advisor has instructed that law enforcement agencies strictly uphold the law in the months leading up to the elections.
