Chief Advisor to the interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, has directed the swift development of an ‘election app’ in preparation for the 13th National Parliament elections. He has also urged the relevant officials to make certain that this new app is user-friendly for voters.
The Chief Advisor issued this directive during a high-level meeting at the state guest house Jamuna in the capital on Saturday (August 9).
Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Advisor, Abul Kalam Azad Majumdar, provided this update on Sunday (August 10).
He mentioned that during the meeting, Fayez Tayyeb Ahmed, Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor on Telecommunication and ICT, revealed the plan to introduce an ‘election app’ for the forthcoming elections.
He noted that the app will include all essential information, such as details about candidates for the February election, updates regarding polling stations, and interactive features for submitting complaints. After hearing this, the Chief Advisor instructed that the app be launched without delay.
