Chief advisor going to Thailand on the first foreign trip.

Interim government’s chief adviser Nobel-winning economist Dr. Muhammad Yunus is going to Thailand on his first foreign visit. He is likely to go to Thailand on September 3 to attend the BIMSTEC summit in Bangkok

The BIMSTEC summit will be held in Bangkok on September 2-4. Seven top leaders of the alliance are likely to attend the conference. For that purpose, the head of the interim government of Bangladesh is preparing to go to Bangkok. It is hoped that Dr. Yunus will go to the conference.

According to diplomatic sources, the interim head of government is going to start his first foreign tour by attending the first multilateral forum. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the BIMSTEC summit in Bangkok. It is expected that there will be a courtesy meeting with the Prime Minister of India on the sidelines of the conference. In addition, some of the top leaders of other member states of the alliance may have a courtesy meeting with Dr. of Yunus.

It is known that the interim head of government will leave for Bangkok on September 3. The next day on September 4, he will address the BIMSTEC Summit. On September 5 Dr. Yunus will return to Dhaka.
