On this day, a meeting is scheduled to be held with several parties including the People’s Forum, Jatiyatabadi Sammana Jot, Labor Party, National Mukti Council, BJP and 12-party alliance.
The dialogue started with the BNP on October 5 at the Rashtriya Guest House Yamuna. One by one dialogues were held with Jamaat-e-Islami, Democracy Manch, Hefazet Islam, Left Democratic Alliance, Islamic Andolan, AB Party and People’s Rights Parishad.
Earlier, the interim government held another round of talks with the political parties on various issues.
Deputy Press Secretary of the Chief Adviser Abul Kalam Azad Majumder informed about Saturday’s meeting in a press conference held at the Foreign Service Academy last Tuesday evening.
He said that many political parties including Gano Forum, Jatiyatabadi Sammana Jot, Jatiya Party (Andalib), 12 party alliance, LDP have been called for dialogue.
On that day, when asked whether the Jatiya Party (Japa) will be called for dialogue, he said that it has not been decided yet. This is an ongoing process, a decision will be taken later.
In his address to the nation on September 11, Professor Muhammad Yunus announced the formation of 6 commissions to reform the election system, police, judiciary, public administration, constitution and anti-corruption.
And last Thursday, the government formed 4 more commissions on health, media, labor and women affairs. The interim government has formed a total of 10 reform commissions.
