Chief Adviser Calls for Urgent Damage Assessment

Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus has reassured the population that the administration is well aware of the consequent public worry and concern following reports of earthquakes felt throughout the nation.

In an official statement today, the Chief Adviser said, “The situation is being closely monitored, and all relevant departments have been instructed to immediately deploy teams at the field level to assess potential damage.”

He added that the government is prioritizing public safety above all else and is taking all necessary measures in response. “Reports of damage from Dhaka and other regions are being addressed promptly, with fire service personnel responding swiftly,” he noted.

Professor Yunus urged citizens to remain alert and refrain from believing or spreading rumors or misinformation. He stated that further instructions will be provided through government hotlines and official channels if necessary.

Reassuring the nation, he said, “We are fully committed to ensuring the safety and security of our citizens.”
