Trading in the stock market ended today with a big fall in the index. Today is the first working day of the week. The same picture is seen on the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE). The overall index CASPI decreased by 143 points.
Shares and units worth Tk 65.10 crore were traded on the DSE today. Which is 61 crore 29 lakh more than the previous day. Last Thursday, the transaction was 693 crore 71 lakh. The DSEX index fell 17 points. Of the shares and mutual funds exchanged today, 70 rose, 239 fell and 36 remain unchanged.
The top companies in the transaction are Rupali Insurance, Republic, Federal Insurance, BD Finance, Walton Hitech, Purbi General Insurance, Beximco, Express Insurance Limited, Sandhani Insurance and First Bangladesh Fixed Inc.
On the other hand, 22 crore 14 lakh shares were traded at CSE. Among the exchanged shares and mutual funds, the prices of 69 stocks increased, 175 stocks declined and 29 stocks declined.
