Mansur Pabna Correspondent: An awareness exchange meeting was held at the Mahi Mukta Auditorium of Haji Abul Kashem Mohila Alim Madrasa on Tuesday (September 16) at 12 noon under the initiative of the Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB) Pabna District Branch.

Assistant Commissioner of Pabna District Administration Office Pranoy Kumar Bir spoke as the chief guest at the meeting. Assistant Director of the National Consumer Rights Protection Department Mahmud Hasan Roni spoke as the main discussant. President of Pabna District Truck Owners Group Mozammel Haque Kabir and Madrasa Principal Maulana Shahin Alam spoke as special guests.

CAB Pabna District Branch President ABM Fazlur Rahman presided over the event and the organization’s General Secretary SM Mahbub Alam moderated the event.

The organization’s Joint General Secretary Shafiq Al Kamal, Women’s Affairs Secretary Poet Aziza Parvin, and member Khaled Ahmed also spoke.

After the discussion, a quiz competition was held as a special attraction of the program. It was conducted by Mahmud Hasan Rony, Assistant Director of the National Consumer Rights Protection Department. He handed over a leaflet titled “Know About the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009” to the students and tested the students’ knowledge through questions and answers.

Adiba Nuzhat Arshi of 5th grade came first in the competition, Sadia Akhtar Dola of 7th grade came second, and Jannatul Mawa Rawa of 10th grade came third. Later, the guests presented the prizes to the winners.

The event was attended by the vice-president of the institution, Maulana Lutfar Rahman Al Farooqui, CAB member Mahima Biswas Mahi, former councilor of Pabna Municipality reserved wards 4/5 and 6 Anwara Rahman Anu, all the teachers of the madrasa and more than 200 students.

At the beginning of the program, fourth grade student Jachiya Jannat recited from the Holy Quran.
