B.Mirror Desk: The ‘Supercell Car Bazar’ was inaugurated with a grand ceremony at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital. Launched through a joint initiative by Wizard Showbiz and ICCB, this market offers buyers and sellers the opportunity to trade various types of vehicles in a single location.e

Tanvir Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan, Managing Director of Bashundhara Group (TBG), inaugurated the car market yesterday as the chief guest. Also present at the event were Riaz Rahman, Secretary General of the Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association (BARVIDA); Arifuzzaman Russel, CEO of Wizard Showbiz; and M M Jasim Uddin, Chief Operating Officer of ICCB. Additionally, the event was attended by stakeholders from the country’s automobile sector, representatives from banks and financial institutions, members of car and biking communities, and officials from various related organizations.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan stated that ‘Supercell Carbazar’ aims to establish itself as a transparent and convenient platform for buyers and sellers. It offers the opportunity to view and inspect new, reconditioned, and used vehicles in one location while also providing easy financing options.
According to the organizers, the primary objective of this initiative is to create an environment where cars can be bought and sold safely and in a modern setting. Facilitating direct interaction between car owners and prospective buyers is also expected to invigorate the country’s automobile market.
Another key feature of the marketplace is that, alongside purchasing vehicles, buyers can speak directly with representatives from various banks and financial institutions. They can gather information on auto loans, vehicle financing, and other financial benefits. The organizers anticipate that this will make the car-buying process significantly easier and more convenient.
‘Supercell Carbazar’ will be held every Friday at the ICCB premises, with operations running from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Buyers will have the opportunity to view cars of various brands and models and select their preferred vehicles. Meanwhile, owners wishing to sell their cars can showcase them directly to potential buyers.
The organizers hope that through these regular events, ‘Supercell Carbazar’ will evolve into a well-known and popular automobile marketplace for the capital’s car enthusiasts, buyers, and sellers.
