The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has invited opinions, suggestions, and objections from stakeholders on the draft of the “Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (Corporate Restructuring) Rules, 2026.”
In a press release signed by BSEC Director and spokesperson Md. Abul Kalam, the commission said the draft rules have already been published on its official website. Relevant individuals and institutions have been requested to submit their feedback within the next two weeks.

According to the notice, opinions, recommendations, or objections may be sent to the Chairman of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission at Securities Commission Bhaban, E-6/C, Agargaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Administrative Area, Dhaka-1207.
Stakeholders may also submit their feedback via email to chairman@sec.gov.bd with a copy to mehran@sec.gov.bd.
The BSEC said the initiative is part of its efforts to formulate a comprehensive regulatory framework for corporate restructuring in the capital market sector.
