Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) Chairman Khandkar Rashed Maqsood is going on a 15-day leave. He will be spending the leave to help his daughter start a postgraduate program in Malaysia.
On December 12, he received the administrative approval of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for traveling abroad under several conditions. His leave will be considered as a leave outside Bangladesh. The Financial Institutions Department of the Finance Ministry has issued an order in this regard. It was signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Farzana Jahan.
It said that the People’s Republic of Bangladesh government has given administrative permission to BSEC Chairman Khandkar Rashed Maqsood to travel abroad under conditions. He will spend 15 days vacation from January 21 to February 04. His wife Samia Faisal Maqsood and daughter Diana Tanashsat Maqsood will accompany him.
The terms and conditions of the leave and travel are – He shall bear all travel expenses. No expenses shall be borne by the Government of Bangladesh or the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission; He will receive his salary and allowances in local currency; The period of his travel will be considered as overseas leave; The provisions of Rule 34 of Appendix 8 of BSR (Part-I) apply to this approval; And he can’t stay abroad beyond the allowed time.
