On the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, the five-day long “BSCIC Entrepreneurship Fair 2024” has started in the courtyard of the BSCIC building in Motijheel of the capital. On Monday, the fair was officially inaugurated by Mr. Sanjay Kumar Bhowmik, Grade-1, Chairman, Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC).

The chief guest of the fair and the chairman of the BSCIC was welcomed by Mr. Mahbub Uliah, Deputy General Manager, Marketing Department, BSIC, on his arrival at the BSIC building.

Mr. Bhowmik also visited the stalls of the fair by cutting the ribbon and opening the doors of the Entrepreneurship Fair. At this time, he inquired about the entrepreneurs and artisans participating in the fair and discussed various issues with them.

Dr. Alamgir Hossain, Regional Director, BSCIC, Dhaka, Mr. Nuruzzaman, Deputy General Manager, BSCIC District Office, Dhaka, Mr. AKM Fazlur Rahman, Assistant Chief Designer, Design Center, BSCIC and Regional Office of BSCIC, among others, were present at the opening ceremony of the fair.
