A discussion meeting was held at the Zainul Abedin Exhibition Hall of BSCIC Design Center in Motijheel, Dhaka, to establish the “Smart Design Center”, on Wednesday. Eminent artist and Emeritus Professor Hashem Khan participated in the meeting with designers and artisans of BSCIC.
The event featured artist Samina Nafiz, a children’s art specialist and researcher in fine arts and crafts, as a special guest. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Abdun Nasir, Director (Marketing, Design & Crafts) of BSCIC, with a welcome speech by Mr. Rahat Uddin, Chief Designer (Acting).
Officials from various levels of the BSCIC marketing department attended the session, which was moderated by BSCIC designer Sheikh Ali Ashraf Farooq.
