The Bangladesh Ocean Going Ship Owners’ Association (BOGSOA) recently organized a training on “ShipBroking and Chartering ” for Bangladeshi mariners and professionals from the maritime sector.
The program, held under the patronage of Mr. A.J. Choudhury, Chairman of BOGSOA, took place at the association’s office in Dhaka. Participants included mariners and business representatives from renowned companies like Meghna Group of Industries, KSRM Ltd, HR Lines Ltd, Hanif Maritime Ltd, Sunshine Maritime Ltd, and East Coast Group.
Following the successful completion of the course, Rear Admiral A.S.M. Abdul Baten (Retd.) presented certificates to the participants on February 16, 2024.
This initiative by BOGSOA highlights the organization’s commitment to enhancing the skills and knowledge of Bangladeshi maritime professionals, contributing to the overall growth and development of the country’s shipping industry.
