Bangladesh Krishi Bank officials and employees held a rally and gathering at the bank’s head office to welcome the government’s initiative to announce and implement the national pay scale for public servants and introduce a new pay structure in the banking sector.

The programme was organised by the Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees Union (CBA), B-985, and the Bangladesh Krishi Bank Officers’ Welfare Association. The organisers expressed their gratitude and thanks to BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman for the initiatives.

Among those who addressed the gathering were Md Zahid Hossain, chief coordinator of the Officers’ Welfare Association and deputy general manager; Syed Liaquat Hossain, convener of the association and deputy general manager; Faiz Uddin Ahmed, president of the Employees Union (CBA); and Md Miraj Hossain, general secretary of the union.

Leaders of the Bangladesh Krishi Bank Nationalist Forum and the Bangladesh Krishi Bank Women’s Forum, along with officials and employees from the bank’s head office, also attended the programme.
