A day-long Chittagong Division Branch Managers’ Conference 2026 of Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) was held on 29 August 2026 at Conference Hall of LGED Bhaban , Sholoshohor, Chittagong. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bangladesh Krishi Bank Mohammed Nurul Amin delivered directive speech as the chief guest while The Chairman in speech placed special emphasis on achieving 100% of the bank’s targets in agricultural loan disbursement and recovery, deposit mobilisation, and remittance collection. He also instructed the bank to gradually prioritize CMSME financing for women entrepreneurs under the financial inclusion programme with the goal of transforming Bangladesh Krishi Bank into a profitable one. He urged all officers and employees to discharge their duties with honesty, dedication and a strong sense of responsibility. The Deputy Managing Directors, Md. Abdur Rahim and Mohd. Khaleduzzaman addressed as special guests. The General Manager of Chittagong Division Md. Quamrul Islam presided over the conference. The event was attended by General Managers from the Head Office Ashrafuzzaman Khan & Mohammad Salahuddin Razib, Chief Regional Managers, Corporate branch heads, Divisional and Regional Audit Officers along with concerned officials of the bank.
