A day-long Dhaka Division Branch Managers’ Conference 2026 of Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) was held on 1 August 2026 at ICC Limited, Mirpur, Dhaka. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bangladesh Krishi Bank Mohammed Nurul Amin delivered directive speech as the chief guest while the Managing Director of the bank Sanchia Binte Ali attended the conference as the Guest of Honour. In her address, she urged all officials to work collectively towards the effective implementation of the bank’s strategic plans and objectives. The Chairman in speech placed special emphasis on achieving 100% of the bank’s targets in agricultural loan disbursement and recovery, deposit mobilisation, and remittance collection. He also instructed the bank to gradually prioritize CMSME financing for women entrepreneurs under the financial inclusion programme with the goal of transforming Bangladesh Krishi Bank into a profitable one. It is noteworthy that Bangladesh Krishi Bank secured the highest position among all banks in the country in remittance collection during June 2026. The bank also recovered a higher volume of loans, particularly non performing Loans (NPLs) than the combined recovery of the country’s six state-owned banks. To ensure the bank’s continued growth and prosperity, the Chairman called upon all concerned to work with greater dedication in implementing coordinated strategies for increasing low-cost and no-cost deposits and accelerating the recovery of classified loans. The Deputy Managing Directors, Md. Abdur Rahim and Mohd. Khaleduzzaman addressed as special guests. The General Manager of Dhaka Division Golam Md. Arif presided over the conference. The event was attended by all General Managers from the Head Office, Chief Regional Managers, Corporate branch heads, Divisional and Regional Audit Officers, concerned officials of the bank along with  CBA leaders.
