Nasiruzzaman, a former secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, became the second term chairman of Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) on Monday.

With considerable renown and distinction, he presided over Bangladesh Krishi Bank as chairman for three years, from December 14, 2020, to December 13, 2023.

Prior to completing a successful two-year stint as a secretary in the People’s Republic of Bangladesh’s Ministry of Agriculture, Nasiruzzaman served as the chairman of the Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC).

He held a variety of field administrative positions prior to joining BKB, including Deputy Commissioner of the Sherpur District. In addition, he carried out tasks in a variety of roles in the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ Finance Division and Economic Relations Division.

In his professional career, he participated in different important development programs in home and abroad.
