Big deal of eight companies on the block

On Tuesday (July 09), the third working day of the week, 47 companies participated in the block market of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE). A total of 54 crore 44 lakh 6 thousand shares of these companies were traded. Out of this, the shares of eight companies were seen to be the most traded. This information is known from DSE sources.

The companies are – Beach Hatchery, National Bank, Lavello Ice Cream, Alif Industries, Central Insurance, Express Insurance, Premier Cement and People’s Insurance Company Limited. Today the total shares of these eight companies have been traded for more than 37 crore 63 lakh taka.

It is known that Beach Hatchery has the most transactions among the companies. On this day, the company’s shares worth 11 crores 98 lakh 17 thousand taka were traded.

9 crore 42 lakh 50 thousand shares of the second highest National Bank were traded.

And Lavello Ice Cream is in the third position by trading shares worth Tk 4 crore 16 lakh 38 thousand.

Among other companies – Alif Industries Tk 3 crore 34 lakh, Central Insurance Tk 3 crore 10 lakh 32 thousand, Express Insurance Tk 3 crore 5 lakh 22 thousand, Premier Cement Tk 2 crore 82 lakh 59 thousand and People’s Insurance Company Limited Tk 2 crore 36 lakh 55 thousand shares and units have been traded.
