B Mirror Report: The Bangladesh Bank has announced revised operational timings for transactions under the Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH) and Real-Time Gross Settlement on March 18 and 19 to facilitate financial transactions ahead of the government holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to a circular issued by the central bank today, the submission deadline for high-value clearing cheques will be 11:30 am, while the return cut-off time has been set at 12:30 pm.

For regular-value clearing cheques, the submission time will be 12:00 pm, and the return cut-off time will be 1:00 pm, the circular said.

The Bangladesh Electronic Funds Transfer Network (BEFTN) sessions will continue to operate according to the existing schedule during the period.

Meanwhile, under the RTGS system, financial transactions will be available between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm, allowing banks and financial institutions to complete urgent settlements before the Eid holidays.
