Bauls from across the country mesmerized the audience with their renditions of Lalon songs at a program titled “Purnima Tithir 50th Sadhumela” held at the Baul Kunja on the premises of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on Tuesday.

The program, organized by the academy’s production department, featured captivating performances and a thought-provoking discussion session.

Shohaila Afsana Echo, Director of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy’s production department, delivered the welcome address, while renowned writer and researcher Syed Zahid Hasan moderated the discussion. The program was presided over by the academy’s Director General, Liaquat Ali Lucky.

Jamal Uddin, Tuntun Fakir, Samir Baul, Baul Rajib Shah, Ariful Haque, Omor Ali, Lably Sheikh, Taslima Akter, and Bidyut Shil enthralled the audience with their soulful solo performances.
