Bashundhara Shuvosangho gifts sewing machines to 20 women in Natore’s Lalpur

Twenty underprivileged women in Natore’s Lalpur Upazila have received sewing machines as a gift from Bashundhara Shuvosangho, a humanitarian project of the Bashundhara Group.

After three months of self-reliance training, the sewing machines were given to the widows and vulnerable women of the upazila’s Debarpara Budhirampur village on Sunday.

Chief guest Abul Kalam Azad, a member of parliament from Natore-1 (Lalpur-Bagatipara Constituency), was present at the sewing machine distribution event, which was presided over by Jalal Uddin Babu, President of Lalpur unit Bashundhara Shuvosangho and Coordinator of Shuvosangho School.
