Bashundhara Group has distributed blankets to 4,000 poor people in Keraniganj, Dhaka. The poor have a smile on their faces after receiving blankets in severe winter.

Upazila Parishad Chairman Shaheen Ahmed was present as the chief guest at the blanket distribution ceremony at Bashundhara Riverview area in Konda Union of South Keraniganj on Sunday. Bashundhara Group Executive Director AK Emnazmul Haque was the special guest on the occasion, reads a ress release.

In the speech of the chief guest, Keraniganj Upazila Chairman Shaheen Ahmed said that country’s leading industrial company Bashundhara Group stands by the helpless people during any disaster. Along with the government, Bashundhara Group also supports the helpless people and I respect the humanitarian activities of Bashundhara Group.

Abdul Quader, engineer of Bashundhara Group, was also present at the blanket distribution ceremony with the attendence of local dignitaries.
