BARI holds Workshop on Present Scenario and Future Challenges of Postharvest Research

Postharvest Technology Division of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) has arranged Workshop on “Present Scenario and Future Challenges of Postharvest Research” at Postharvest Technology Division Seminar Room of FMPE Division today (03 September 2025). BARI Chief Scientific Officer (Postharvest Technology Division) Dr. Md. Alamgir Hossain presided over the session while Director (Research) Dr. Munshi Rashid Ahmad was present as chief guest. Director (Support & Services) Dr. Ashraf Uddin Ahmed and Director (Training and communication) Dr. Md. Ataur Rahman were present as special guests. At this time, Also present at the event were Director (Horticulture Research Center) Dr. Faruque Ahmed; Director (Tuber Crop Research Center) Dr. Md. Matiar Rahman and Head of the Food Engineering Department of Gazipur Agricultural University Professor Dr. Amdadul Haque. Senior scientis from various center/division/section of BARI were present there also. Senior Scientific Officer (Postharvest Technology Division) Dr. Md. Golam Ferdous Chowdhury presented information on the current and future challenges in postharvest technology research at the event.
