Bangladesh Bank has released the list of new holidays for next year. 2025. Banks and financial institutions will have 27 days of holidays in a year.

According to the new list of Bangladesh Bank published on Sunday (November 17), the first public holiday of next year will be Shabbat. On this occasion, the bank will be closed for one day on February 15. Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day will be closed on February 21. Banks will be closed on March 26 Independence and National Day, Jumatul Bida and March 28 Shabbat.

And on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, it will be closed for five days from March 29 to April 2. Although there is a day off in between. Accordingly, banks will be closed two days before Eid-ul-Fitr, on the day of Eid and two days after Eid.

Banks will be closed on the occasion of Bengali New Year on 14th April, May Day on 1st May and Buddha Purnima on 11th May. Banks will be closed from June 5 to 10 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. Bank will be closed for 6 days. A two-day weekend has fallen on Eid-ul-Azha.
