Bangladesh Krishi Bank Marks Milestone with USD 3.13 Billion Remittance in 2025

Bangladesh Krishi Bank achieved a remarkable success in foreign remittance collection in 2025. By collecting USD 3.13 billion, the Bank secured the second highest position among all banks in the country that marked a glorious milestone in its history. To celebrate this historic achievement, Bangladesh Krishi Bank organized a Glorious Milestone Celebration Program on 19 January 2026 at the Auditorium of bank’s Head Office by cutting a Cake. The program was graced by Nazma Mobarek, Honorable Secretary, Financial Institutions Division, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh as the Chief Guest. In her speech, the Honorable Chief Guest stated that remittance is one of the key driving forces of the national economy. She emphasized that Bangladesh Krishi Bank has built the trust and confidence of expatriate Bangladeshis, enabling the Bank to achieve this outstanding success, which will significantly contribute to the country’s overall economic development. The program was presided over by the Managing Director of Bangladesh Krishi Bank Sanchia Binte Ali. In her presidential address, the Managing Director stated that this glorious achievement has been made possible through the dedication of the Bank’s officers and employees, the provision of modern banking services, and a strong sense of responsibility toward expatriate Bangladeshis. She also expressed her commitment to maintaining this positive momentum in the future. Certificates and Crests were distributed among the remittance award achieving managers of the bank’s. Additional Secretary of FID Md. Azimuddin Biswas NDC, the country representatives of different house & MFI, Deputy Managing Directors of BKB Md. Abdur Rahim & Mohd. Khaleduzzaman, along with senior executives, CBA leaders & concerned officers-employees of the bank were present at the event.
