B.Mirror Desk: The 28th Annual General Meeting of Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited held on 26 September 2026 through Digital Platform. Mr. Md. Ataur Rahman, Chairman, Board of Directors of BCBL presided over the meeting. Among others member the Board of Directors Mr. Md. Mohashin Miah, Mr. Kamrul Hoque Maruf and Mr. Shaikh Ashafuzzaman FCA and Managing Director of BCBL Mr. Md. Obaidul Hoque were present in the meeting.  Mr. Mohammad Saidul Islam, Joint Secretary and representative of the Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance, Mr. Md. Omar Faruk Bhuiyan, Company Secretary of BCBL along with various divisional head were also present in the meeting.
The audits of the Bank for the year ended on December 31, 2025, the acceptance and approval of the reports of the Directors and Auditors along with the status sheet on that date and the appointment of auditors and remuneration for the year of 2026 were approved at the Annual General Meeting.
A significant number of shareholders attend spontaneously in the meeting. The meeting discussed various business topics and action plans for next year.
The Managing Director rendered special thanks and best wishes to the shareholders and others. Finally, the Chairman announced the completion of the meeting.
