Md. Nazrul Islam, Rajbari District Correspondent: District Intelligence Branch (DB) has arrested an Awami League leader named Md Akbar Mondal in Rajbari’s Kalukhali in the case of attack on anti-discrimination students. He is the organizing secretary of Majbari Union Awami League of Kalukhali Upazila and former UP member.
He was arrested by the District Intelligence Branch (DB) during a raid in Mazbari area of Kalukhali on Saturday (March 15).
Rajbari District Intelligence Branch (DB) Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Mofizul Islam said that the accused Md Akbar Mondal was arrested in the investigation of the case of attack on anti-discrimination students at Goland intersection on August 5. He will be handed over to the Rajbari court.
