Associated Oxygen Limited downgraded to Z category

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has relegated Associated Oxygen Limited to the Z category due to their failure to hold annual general meetings (AGMs). According to the directive, any issuer that does not have its AGM within the allotted period must be placed in the Z category, also known as the junk stock category.

Companies must convene their AGMs within 45 working days of the record date, which is determined at the year-end board meeting, in accordance with DSE listing regulations.

According to DSE listing rules, the company will be moved from the current “A” category to the “Z” category on January 21, 2025, in accordance with BSEC Directive No. BSEC/CMRRCD/2009-193/77 dated May 20, 2024, provision 1(b) on the non holding of annual.
