Al Arafah Islami Bank signs MoU with HBRI

Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Housing and Building Research Institute (HBRI) for sustainable and eco-friendly housing development. Director General of HBRI Ashraful Alam was present as chief guest at the event. Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Fazlur Rahman Chowdhury and Principal Research Engineer of HBRI Mohammad Parvez Khadem signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.

Head of Retail Banking Division of the Bank Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Head of Products & Propositions Saif Imam Bokhari, Gazi Mosthafizur Rahman and HBRI Project Officer Ahsan Habib, Senior Research Architect Monjur Parvez and other Senior Officials from both organizations were present in the ceremony.

As part of this agreement, AIBPLC clients will have access to HBRI’s specialized sustainability compliance certificates for Climate Resilient Housing, Affordable Green Housing, and Green Building Features, facilitating the development of eco-friendly retail products, projects, and initiatives. This exclusive partnership emphasizes AIBPLC’s dedication to advancing sustainable and eco-friendly housing solutions for its clients.

Representatives of both organizations expressed their enthusiasm about the partnership, stating this exclusive strategic partnership is set to open new avenues for AIBPLC’s retail home investment clients, offering them the opportunity to develop energy-efficient, environmentally friendly housing solutions at attractive and affordable profit rates.
