Al-Arafah Islami Bank (AIB) PLC. has signed a participatory agreement under Bangladesh Bank’s refinancing scheme to finance environment friendly projects.

Managing Director and CEO of AIBPLC Farman R. Chowdhury and Director of Bangladesh Bank Sustainable Finance Department Chowdhury Liakat Ali signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions in a ceremony organized at Bangladesh Bank on Thursday.

Deputy Managing Director of AIB PLC. Mohammad Nadim, Senior Vice President Zahurul Haque, Bangladesh Bank Deputy Director Raghib Ibnul Asif and Senior Executives of both institutions were present on the occasion.
