Al-Arafah Islami Bank inaugurates Training Workshop on ‘General Banking Management’

A 3-day training workshop titled ‘General Banking Management’ at Al-Arafah Islami Bank has begun at the Bank’s Training Institute. Managing Director and CEO Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan inaugurated the Workshop as the chief guest on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

Speaking as the chief guest, Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan said that in order to survive in the current competitive banking environment, it is very important to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes of the concerned officers. He urged the participants to enhance their skills through this training and ensure improved and competitive customer service, expand quality business and play an effective role in achieving the overall goals and objectives of the bank.

He further remarked that such training will contribute significantly to enhancing professional excellence in general banking activities as well as improving the quality of bank services.

The training workshop was presided over by the Principal of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Training Institute (AIBTI) Md. Abdur Rahim Duary. Senior Vice President Touhid Siddique, Senior Assistant Vice President Saif Mohammad Zulkar Naeen were also present at the workshop. 50 officer trainees from various branches participated in the workshop.
