Al Arafah Islami Bank inagurates Sub Branch at Maijdee Bazar, Noakhali

Al-Arafah Islami Bank (AIB) PLC. has inaugurated its 88th Sub-branch in Maijdee Bazar, Noakhali. Managing Director (Current Charge) of the Bank Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan inaugurated the new Sub-branch as chief guest on Thursday, July 3 2025.

Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan said, “Al-Arafah Islami Bank is committed to delivering modern banking directly to services along with Shariah-compliant, interest-free banking facilities to the doorstep of its customers. In line with that commitment, we have inaugurated this new Sub-branch today. Local residents and businessman in this region will now be able to avail a full range of modern banking services, including deposit and investment facilities, foreign trade, remittance services, and more. Al-Arafah Islami Bank will be a key contributor to the economic development of this area.”

Deputy Managing Director Mohammed Hossain was also addressed as the special guest. Presided by Sylhet Zonal Head Mohammad Azam among others former Headmaster of Arun Chandra High School Tajul Islam and General Secretary of Maijdee Bazar Business Association Md. Shahadat Hossain spoke at the event. Executive Vice President and Head of Brand Communications and Marketing Division Jalal Ahmed conducted the ceremony.  A large number of local people and well-wishers, businessmen, journalists, and Bank officials were present in the inauguration ceremony.

Currently, Al-Arafah Islami Bank serves its customers nationwide through a network of 226 branches, 88 sub-branches and 745 agent outlets.
