A three-day training course titled “Investment Risk Management” has started at the Bank’s Training Institute (AIBTI) at Al-Arafah Islami Bank on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan inaugurated the training program as the Chief Guest.
In his speech, the chief guest emphasized the need for effective investment risk management to ensure sustainable growth of the bank, maintain asset quality and further strengthen overall financial stability. He said that it is possible to reduce defaulted investments through well-planned investment decisions, proper risk assessment and continuous monitoring, which will play an important role in increasing the confidence of customers and stakeholders.
The program was presided over by Senior Executive Vice President & Principal of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Training Institute (AIBTI) Md. Abdur Rahim Duary. The bank’s Senior Assistant Vice President SM Zulker Nayeen, Md Mazharul Alom and senior officers were present at the workshop. A total of 50 investment officers of the bank participated as trainees in the training program.
This three-day training will enhance the professional skills of the participants and make the bank’s investment activities more integrated and effective.
