Al-Arafah Islami Bank Holds 30th AGM

The 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Al-Arafah Islami Bank was held virtually on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the Bank’s Head Office. Chairman of the Bank Khwaja Shahriar presided over the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Board Directors Md. Shahin Ul Islam, Md. Abdul Wadud, Professor Dr. Mohammed Abu Eusuf, Mohammad Asraful Hassan FCA, Managing Director (Acting) Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan. Company Secretary (Acting) Mohammad Moniruzzaman FCA presented the agenda of the meeting.

At the end of 2024, the Bank achieved a growth of 8.37% in deposits and 6.68% in investments compared to the previous year. The shareholders of the Bank have approved all agendas presented in the meeting, including the financial statements for the fiscal year 2024, appointment of auditors, and several other key proposals.

During the session, shareholders reviewed the Bank’s financial statements and expressed their satisfaction with its overall performance and activities. They also shared constructive and valuable recommendations aimed at further strengthening the Bank’s image and enhancing its operational excellence.

Chairman Khwaja Shahriar outlined the future plans for the development of the Bank and thanked the shareholders for participating in the virtual meeting. He sought everyone’s full cooperation in the management of the Bank.
